Bristol Pride Looking For Your Feedback

Bristol Pride Looking For Your Feedback

The organisers behind the annual Bristol Pride event are appealing for feedback regarding the planning of future events.

The 2015 event saw another year of record numbers attending the Bristol Pride event that was held on Saturday 11th July. Over 30,000 people attended throughout the day with 5000 people joining us on the Parade, and as such the numbers are nearing the capacity of the location.

Appealing to the community, the organisers said “We saw yet another year of record numbers attending Bristol Pride. Over 30,000 people attended throughout the day with 5000 people joining us on the Parade.

With these numbers Castle Park was full by 2pm and we had to implement a 1in1 out policy. We also made one of the entrances exit only, for a short time, to ensure your safety. This sadly meant some people had to wait to get in and we had to temporarily suspend Qjumps. With current restrictions on the site usage and continued planned works that will impact usable space we may have outgrown the park. Your enjoyment and safety is paramount.

So, with this in mind we have some questions that will help us understand what you want, how important our location is and help us gather data which we can use to make a case to decision makers.”

The survey can be found online here.
